Age: Appears to be around 17, but is in her 50s now. She has the sex drive and personality of a woman in her early twenties. (So Nola is three ages at once! J).
B-Day: 15th August..
Clan: Qadesh Clan.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Specific Features: Nola has thin, blonde hair down to around her waist, always kept out. Her eyes are a striking red and usually framed by dark mascara.
Distinguishing Marks: Two scars under her left eye where she was scratched after a disagreement with another clan.
General Appearance: Nola is tall for a seventeen year old… But not tall enough to look out of place at a high school. This leads to a lot of confusion for patrons at her casinos. She is light weight and curvaceous, somewhat skinny due to her tendency not to eat (comes with a diet of blood only I suppose) .
More: She enjoys the Gothic fashion trend, wearing lots of red, black, dark purple clothing and dark make up. Her hair contrasts it all, she usually keeps it a strawberry blonde when she’s not in the mood to bleach it lighter.
Originally African-American, Nola has a sort of Michael Jackson thing going on with her (minus the surgery). Where people normally turn pale when they’re scared, or red because they’re embarrassed, Nola turns back to her original dark colour.
MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS
Aspirations: To bring the Qadesh clan to great success in both the human and vampire worlds, and find true love. She and the Qadesh clan have generally been the more scorned of the clans for loving humans, and she would like to see vampires and humans co-exist a little happier than they are now.
Otherwise, Nola has all the time in the world to do whatever comes to her head.
General Personality: Nola usually looks little sad on the outside, usually keeping a wistful expression on her face. She is always friendly and helpful, but it seems to always be forced. For those who KNOW her, she’s a quite fun loving and… kinky. Her love for humans also gives her quite a bit of human humour, and a lot more humanity then her vampire kin. Nola is not one to open up easily. In fact, she keeps to herself quite a bit, letting people only skim on the surface of her personality. Otherwise, she appears as plain ol’ calm and generous.
Inner Personality: Nola is lustful, although she has the sex drive and personality of a twenty year old, her maturity when it comes to love is still with her body’s age, and she tends to have infatuations and crushes that she often mistakes for ‘true love’. She is, however, intelligent, which has lead to the power of the Qadesh clan. Underneath her fragile exterior is a powerful woman who only shows herself when necessary.
Strengths: Nola is well-liked by most she comes across. Mainly humans. She is a great business woman, running the Incarnadine with ease, as if she had run a casino all her life (well, she’s been running it for about three-four-or so decades now…)..
Weaknesses: Nola has difficulty talking herself out of bad situations. She has a tendency to shut up and go dark (not pale). Also, Nola is easily led when it comes to love. It is one situation where she can easily be hurt.
Fear: To be disrespected, to not have anyone to turn to.
Secret: Nola is a little unsure of her sexuality. Lately she’s been erring to… Females. And she’s quite sexually driven when she wants to be…
On top of this, she’s sitting on top of a secret bank account (somewhat of a legal secret there).

Special Items: Nola is careful never to leave her chain of lucky charms behind. No-one knows why, as she’s not in the slightest superstitious. Yet another unusual object she keeps is a pair of furry handcuffs in her bedroom.
Hobbies: Nola is a strange one. Her favourite past-time (besides the bedroom and thinking about ways to improve her clan) is to watch humans (and vampires, as the case may be) around the casinos, whether it be in the actual casino or on the security cameras.
Relationships: Nola only shares her secrets with Airell. He is her closest friend and she would trust him to the ends of the earth. Although she’s so close with him, she treats Airell with utmost respect and does not want to ruin their relationship with sex, even when she is feeling straight.
Argyle is a vampire from another clan that she may, one day, open up to, as they seem to share a common strain in sexuality.
Darcy is another vampire Nola has relations with, but its more of a respectful one. Nola is not entirely sure what to think of the vampire who gave her clan leadership, but she feels that it means she should show him her utmost respect.
HISTORIC BACKGROUND.
General History: Nola grew up with her parents, and was an intelligent, A-grade student with a close-knit group of friends.
When she was turned at the age of seventeen, she ran away from home, ashamed of her new form. She was horrified of her need for blood, and despised herself for having to change from day-bird to night owl. It wasn’t long after that her parents began to send out missing person alerts, pictures on milk cartons and such. However, Nola’s changed skin colour prevented her from being found.
After living secluded for a few years, slowly withering away from lack of blood, Nola began to seek out other vampires for help, and assurance that she wasn’t such a monster. Her age of turning surprised many of the vampires, and she quickly became well-known among the country.
Nola began to miss human companionship… She began associating with humans around her new home in Las Vegas. She became a gambler, and was with a bit of luck, and a bit of charming the tycoons, she was able to make enough money to start up her own casino, the Incarnadine.
Nola’s reputation began to drop when many vampires found out about her reputation among the humans. She became known as the “Human Lover” and was ridiculed by many of the other vampires for this.
The only vampire to stand by her at this time was a vampire called Airell, who became Nola’s closest friend. He was the only one at this time she could trust as Nola became more and more introverted again.
Nola became clan leader of the Qadesh when she had a peculiar run in with Darcy. After meeting him at a meeting of the vampire clans, she talked to him about what she finds in humans… Nola thinks that it was possibly her knowledge that led him to giving her leadership of the clan, but otherwise, only Darcy really knows why Nola was suddenly announced as the leader of the newest clan.
Nola quickly began to collect support from various vampires, all who have some connections with humans. Incarnadine flourished under the clan, and her clan slowly grew to a medium size by the other clans.
However, the clan has gained the same reputation as Nola, and many vampires fear becoming a part of the clan, lest they be ridiculed for their connections with the humans. Nola tried numerous attempts to make the other clans accept their beliefs, but so far, none have worked.
Present Life: Nola is beginning to rediscover herself sexually. Her recent dive into lesbianism is kept very secret, and she hasn’t even found a way to break it to Airell quite yet. The recent appearance of Argyle is giving Nola a wanted chance to gain respect among the other clans.
